Human-Computer Interaction and Systems

We develop innovations that will facilitate the next generation of human-computer interaction. We also apply the research developed in the Noah’s Ark lab for industrial applications. We aim to allow seamless interaction between users and computational devices (computes, smartphones) by making the latter more usable and context-sensitive, thus minimizing the barrier between them.

Research in this area includes but is not limited to the following topics:

  • Accessibility.
  • Autonomy.
  • Energy and power efficiency.
  • Context awareness.
  • Evaluation.
  • Man-machine interface and interaction.
  • Interaction techniques.
  • User cognition modeling.
  • Usability and its testing.
