Liang Chen
LIANG Chen (Victor) is a Ph.D. candidate of the department of computing at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He obtained B.Eng from University of Shanghai for Science and Technology in 2007. His research interests include machine learning, data mining, social network, bio-informatics etc. Recent publications:

Tianqi Chen
Tianqi Chen is a master candidate of Computer Science Department, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). He leads the machine learning and data mining team in Apex Data and Knowledge Management Lab in SJTU. He was the co-team leader of 3rd place winner team of KDDCup 2011. Furthermore, he led the team to win the champion of KDDCup 2012. He obtained his B.S. of Computer Science from SJTU. Ji Mengqi
Mengqi JI was born and raised in mainland of China. He received his Bachelor of Automation in the School of Information Engineering at the University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB), China, in 2012, and exchanged to University of Limerick, Ireland, from 2011-2012. He obtained his Master degree in Electronics and Engineering from the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2013. His research interests include machine learning, digital image processing, and embedded system
Tao Ye
Tao Ye is doing an internship in Noah’s Ark Lab. He received his bachelor degree from the School of Computer Science & Engineering in Beihang University. Currently he is a first-year PhD student in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, CSE Department. His research interests include data center, cloud computing framework, cluster scheduling and cloud computing operating system.
Jun Wei
Wei Jun is a PhD candidate and HCI Researcher of National University of Singapore (NUS). Her research interests include human-computer interaction, technologically-enhanced food interaction, UX design, personal and ubiquitous computing, and interactive digital media. She has published papers in academic journals and conferences, such as IEEE transactions, ACM CIE, UbiComp, ACE, SIGGRAPH ASIA, IGIC, ICMI, ICEC, etc, also include demonstrations and posters. Wen Yingting
Ying Ting Wen is a master candidate in Department of Computing, Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She's currently doing research in social network analysis under the supervision of  Prof. Korris Chung. Her research interests are link prediction, tie strength and social influence within social networks. Before joining PolyU, she worked for a B2C company as a user experience researcher. She obtained her bachelor of science in Psychology at Wuhan University and was an RA at lab of social psychology in Huazhong Normal University.
Yang Lin
Lin Yang is a MPhil candidate of Computer Science and Engineering Department, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and he has earned B.S. degree in South China University of Science and Technology with a major in computer networks. His research mainly focus on the massive data processing and parallel algorithm design.
Yang Wenxia
YANG Wenxia (Michelle) is a PhD candidate of Computer Science Department, The University of Hong Kong. She obtained her Master from Chinese Academy of Science, Institute of Software. Her research focused on document visualization and intelligent user interface. She is also highly interested in algorithm design programming. YANG Wenxia has published papers in academic  conferences and journals, such as EuroVis and Computer Graphics Forum. She also has several Chinese Patents.
Yu Peng
YU Peng is a Msc student from the Informatin Engineering Department, Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). He had worked in a startup company and then worked in Sohu, prior to pursuing study in CUHK. He obtained his B.S. of Management Information System from University of Electronic Science Technology of China (UESTC). His research interests include social computing and web science.
