Huawei organized the Second ICT Industry and Technology Trend Forum on 16th and 17th January, 2013 at the headquarters in Shenzhen. A number of world-renowned academic researchers and industry leaders gathered to share their opinions regarding the future development in ICT.

The Noah’s Ark Lab was glad to host visits of two of the speakers of the forum. Prof. Philip Yu, Professor and Wexler Chair in Information Technology at the University of Illinois in Chicago, shared with us his research projects in social network mining. In addition, Dr. Michael Zeller, CEO of Zementis, presented to us an overview of predictive analysis, which is the core business of his company.
